Happy Ink-o-ween!

Todays final Inktober word is 'Slice' and below is my final Inktober result:

I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Inktober! It has been a great task, drawing whole scenes or even more minimal scenes, all from the starting point of one word every day.

Today is the penultimate day of Inktober, with todays word being 'Jolt'! Below is my drawing of a thief getting a jolt of electricity from the electric fence which is connected to the switch he is trying to turn off:

The word 'Double' lead me to the idea of a 'Twin-o-matic' machine that could duplicate anything, for example a cake!

'Gift' is the word for today and it got me thinking about this terrific phrase:

Yesterday is History,

Tomorrow is a Mystery,

Today is a Gift,

That's why it is called the Present.

Todays word is 'Thunder' which I have depicted with the sound wave lines in the drawing below:

The word 'Stretch' made me think of the idiom 'Stretching the Truth':

The word 'Prickly' has made me really think about perspective, when looking at the shadows of the cactuses in this mid-west desert scene:

I think that todays drawing is quite self-explanatory for the word 'Chop':

I really like my drawing for today, a scene of muddy footprints leading into a house and up the stairs:

The first thing that came to mind, when thinking of the word expensive, was an expensive coat in a shop window:

I really like the scene that I created for todays word, 'Drain':

I think that I have made the drain appear almost river like in the way that the rain water is flowing down it!

The word 'Breakable' made me think of a broken screen on a phone/a broken piece of glass:

Todays word is Scorched, therefore I have chosen to depict the scorching sun frying an egg in the middle of the road and melting a car that was driving down the road:

Bottle is the Inktober word of the day, so I have chosen to draw a squashed bottle:

Today I have chosen to depict tools falling on someones foot which would cause it to become 'Swollen':

Angular the Inktober word of the day! Here is my portrayal of the word angular, I really thought about drawing something that attracts your eyes in to look at it:

Today I have chosen to present the word Weak, firstly as ice being melted by the sun, secondly by a weak 1 gram weight breaking a weak rope and finally as a person who is too weak to lift a boulder:

Today I decided to show a clock in its older form that is rarely used today, a sun dial!
