Today I completed my first session of life drawing. The first task included drawing from five different poses in 30 seconds and then drawing from five different poses in one minute. I found this first task very difficult as by the time I had drawn one part of the person, the time was up. This was just the warm up task to get the drawings to flow better when we completed the ten minute drawings.
I feel that I became much more successful when I started to do ten minute drawings. Also my tutor gave me the advice of measuring the models head using my pencil and then counting how many times her head measurement went into the rest of her body. Allowing me the potential to get the right proportions. After each slot of time, the model would change her stance/position.
Here are my ten minute drawings from this first session:

Andrea and Matteo Bochelli
I came across this song today and it had me close to tears. Father and son Andrea and Matteo sing this very powerful, beautiful song together. Andrea being blind from the age of 12 sings along side his son, each expressing their care for one another - 'Fall On Me'.

#Inktober Day 2
Here are my ideas based on tranquility:
I really like the idea of sitting in a place surrounded by country hills and sitting on a swing, as the sun sets in the distance.

#Inktober 2018
Here is my Title page and 1st Day of #Inktober 2018
The aim of Inktober is to get people drawing every day, in order to 'grow, improve and form positive habits'. The more consistent people are with their drawings, the better.
1st October Theme: Poisonous
The theme poisonous, made me think of how fish suffer from constant pollution/waste being thrown into the ocean and how harmful it is to their lives.
