Sarah Perks is a Professor of Visual Art/Artistic Associate at MMU/Home. She has worked as a cross disciplinary collaborative curator and was originally a student at MMU. Additionally she led the entire artistic programme at 'The Corner House' in Manchester until it closed down and then she continued to work with 'Home' in Manchester. Perks said that 'ideas take time to develop' and that in order to succeed, it is good to 'immerse yourself in other disciplines'. I think that this idea is key to anyone, as sometimes the best ideas can come from looking at how other people work and then allowing that to be your inspiration.
